The Home Team

The Home Team has been devised to empower and inspire those wanting to have a go at home DIY. Its three hosts are experts in their fields and eager to share their knowledge with viewers to give them the confidence to get their hands dirty.

The Home Team debuts from Monday, 3rd November, in the 3.30-4.00pm timeslot. It runs for 10-weeks Monday-thru-Saturday (Saturday’s episode airs from 3.00-3.30pm) with each episode encored on ONE HD that night and again on Ten the next morning.

The Home Team in partnership with Häfele will share with you all the tips and tricks of the trade, while presenting the latest and best in storage solutions and accessories throughout the home

THE HOUSE.

An original condition 1950’s triple fronted, double brick home in a typical Australian suburb. The challenge was to conceive a renovation solution that had a lot of DIY in it and that made the most out of the ‘good bones’ without too much structural change. A tough assignment, that the team is more than up for.

THE HOSTS.

James Bawden. James is a typical Aussie “tradie” - likeable, quick-witted and hardworking. Dobbed-in by mates on a building site, James found himself shortlisted as one of Cleo magazine’s most eligible bachelors in 2011. But there’s more to James than a tool belt, drill and big baby blues.

Julia Green. With a love of interiors and a lifetime of acquiring art, objects and collectibles for her own home, it is fair to say that Julia Green has found her dream job as an interiors stylist and writer. A chance meeting with a photographer from Vogue led Julia to establish Greenhouse Interiors in 2010.

Anthony Scott. Anthony Scott, an award winning landscaper and designer is the principal of Arbour Landscaping Group, a company he formed shortly after receiving his qualification, in landscape construction and gardening, in 1992.
